“1947 cj2a. Runs and drives. New carb, gas tank lines and pump. Front brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes and lines. Water pump, thermostat, hoses. Too much to list. 12v system. Rewired new resister and alternator. Took the points out of the distributor and installed magnetic hot spark system to make it like a solid state distributor. Runs and drives. It’s got rear floaters. It just might have an MB/GPW chassis. Looks to have a replacement body.

“Too many projects too little time. Include second grill, and set of fenders. I believe the owner before me started restoring and didn’t get far. From what I can tell new front and rear axles. I have signed not transferred title in hand. It’s at my business but is personally for sale. Obviously some rust but most are just light surface, to my knowledge the pan is in good shape.
There is a 4 cylinder engine under the hood – but not running.’

(01/08/2017) Bill shared the one. Looks to be a Lefty with a Porter & Reed hardtop.

“Jeep Willys 1948 nice floors very little rust if any, has transmission T94 and transfer case installed, V-6 Buick engine is sitting in engine bay, not hooked up yet, engine ran good before setting in compartment, no wiring done yet, comes with spare tire, front seats are good, no back seat, has hard to find artic top and doors, glass needs to be replaced, nice spare tire on a good rim, has DMV paid for the year with new Ca. plates, incorrect bumper has been taken off and a brand new black painted Willys bumper is seating in jeep ready to be put on. No trades.”
