Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Due to unforeseen reasons I regretfully have to sell my 1949 CJ-2A jeep my loss can be your gain it’s just pulled outa years of storage as of 12/8/15. it is almost all original and pretty darn solid the windshield glass is cracked. the motor is out and apart ready to get rebuilt, I have more pics I can send you more just contact me. also I have stock rims to go with it, along with complete front and rear axle assembly’s with stock tires and rims from a 1947 CJ 2A. if the price is right. Many other new replaced parts/components(too many to list-will provide list of new parts if seriously interested). Total cash payment preferred (discounted price for cash payment). “I built this Jeep starting in the summer of 2005. It was completely stripped down to nothing and built from the ground up by myself and my father in our garage. Theres alot of custom work, body being the biggest, i saved the original cowl section and built the body off that. All new sheet metal was utilized in the body tub. Reproduction tailgate, windshield frame, fenders, hood and grille are utilized also. The roof is made by Kelly Ironworks, it’s in amazing condition! It spent most of it’s life in storage. I completely stripped the doors, new window tracks were installed, the original glass is still there, it does have some scratches from over the years. I found keys for the locks so the interior can be secured when the doors are on. The windows roll up and down fine. There is a lockable storage compartment under the passenger seat. Paint is enamel.
