This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (08/19/2015) Seems to have a 4WD problem.
“This is a 48 with a F Head Motor Swap.
Motor is strong
Body is straight and Rot Free..small amounts of rust under the tail lights.
Frame is clean
New Suspension
New Rear Seat and belts

Had some trouble with 4wd last time I tried…but it was really cold, not sure if that had something to do with it.

It’s a project or parts jeep.
“I have a 1947 cj-2a for sale. It is a farm find and is a great project. The engine runs great and I drove it twice and discovered a transmission- transfer case leak since they are one unit. I took the engine and transmission out and bought a gasket kit to fix the leak but the project has been put to the side since and don’t have time to do it like It should so I’m looking for a new home for it. I’m asking 700 and have clean title. Comes with the gasket kit and everything that goes with it, call or text for any questions you may have.”

(05/15/2015) Has a warn winch and PTO. Motor doesn’t run.
“Selling my 1947 Willys cj2a JEEP Has been stored inside most its life Has “small” area on each side panel near drains. floors rear firewall etc are SOLID. Has a nice shape BesTop soft top, 8000# Warn Winch and PTO. 5 NEWER self cleaning mud tires on 16″ steel Willys wheels. Also comes with the factory (5) 15″ original wheels one of which has a good tire mounted. The others are just rims. Original hubs.

“this was a garage find in Philadelphia pa. last inspection was 1984.brought it home.got it running.got brakes working. changed fluids.has some rust but not bad.hole in drivers floor is about the worst.tool box floor is in tact.rear corners show some rust,but not much . front frame horns were welded years ago.speedometer is working and shows 20,485 ,who knows? engine starts and runs.all gears seem ok. serial # 17418 , frame #17418 , body#7507 , tailgate#7503 engine block was replaced with a newer block (supersonic) but looks like original accessories even the head.has pto on end of transfer case but no shaft or rear unit.this is a fairly early civilian willys with colum shift,that has not been messed with or restored.this is a drag out of the garage find so it needs a lot of things. oh, there is a soft top and doors. four old canvas doors also.call with questions ”

Bantam Trailer was manufactured in 1941. Has a pintle hitch and pintle hook receiver included
Trailer has 10.50×15 Truxus tires w/about 100 mi on them. Tailgate is welded closed with diamond plate. New wheel bearings. This is a HEAVY duty trailer
Would consider selling Jeep or trailer separate. Jeep alone price is $7,000. Trailer alone price is $1,600.”
