Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I don’t see anything to indicate this is a 1945 2A. More likely a 1946 given the triple dash plates.

170 CI inline six cyl engine. Runs perfect.
No wiper motor.”

“I have a 48 willys jeep original flat top 4 cylinder 4 speed its a project for sure needs a starter and a tune up and will run I’m sure can turn the motor over with a socket and ratchet. It has a a title just have to find it. Axle and brakes aren’t frozen. Has all gauges and lights and windshield is there have the seats and under seat gas tank spare tire it has original military tires. ”

“1948 willys jeep cj2a. I started restoring several years ago, but lost interest . It is in several pieces. The tub has been rebuilt but not painted, the frame was sandblasted and painted. I have several hundred dollars in new parts. I have no pictures, but will make appointments for serious buyers to see it . I have a good clear title”
