These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1949 Willys CJ2A Jeep. $4500 firm. No trades, cash only.
Jeep V6 motor, updated later model Jeep steering with new steering components, and 11″ Jeep brakes.
This is a hunting jeep, nothing fancy just a good solid working rig. This is not a project, it is ready to load up and go. No trailer required, just snap the tow bar on your truck and go.
New tires (5), clutch, starter, water pump, fuel pump, gas tank, ignition switch, ALL NEW brake components including steel lines and flex lines, wheel and master cyls. etc. New front wheel bearings and seals, rear end has all new seals, new tranny and transfer case seals. New five gallon jerry can.
New front seats with mounts that adjust fwd and back as well as recline and fold fwd.
Rear seat folds up and stows out of the way.
All new exhaust from manifolds to tail pipe out the rear, very quiet muffler.
Fresh tune up including points, condenser, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, carb rebuilt. This motor runs perfect and starts right up. It is excellent mechanical condition.
Also includes an original hard top with doors. Not pictured.
Clear title, is registered and can be test driven.

“1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A. Soft top in great condition. I have had the transmission , transfer case, front end , and rear end rebuilt. Brakes, wiring, gas tank, most gauges, tires, rims, most of the steering, horn, fenders, tailgate, windshield, and windshield frame have been replaced. Coolant system, fuel pump, air cleaner, exhaust system have been replaced. and other odds and ends over the last few years. The bodywork has been started but not finished. It ain’t perfect, so don’t expect it to be.”

“this jeep runs good shifts good however it does need body work i have started this project the floor pan has been replaced there is some other places that need attention i know its ugly right now but someone that has time and the knowledge this will be an awesome jeep i have so many parts for it i have new wiring harness i have starters, generators, right rear 1/4 panel , i have a spare engine spare tire and rim head lights radiator new poly gas tank the list continues im moving ,
i dont want to sell this but i have to part with it i dont want any tire kickers to waste my time the jeep is in gadsden county so i dont want to waste my time the tire blew on me when i was driving it on the farm i will have the tire put on to let u drive it a short distance the brakes dont work thats why i say a short distance it is 4×4 i locked in the 4×4 several years ago not sure if it will still lock in price is negotiable and u will need a trailer to haul it thanks”
“1948 willy’s jeep cj2a. Ran good when i bought it. Started to redo. No longer interested. Body was bad besides hood tailgate and front end. Raidator tested core bad. 4 cyl flat head 2 seats. Bikini top. As far as i know everything original. I still have all parts i took apart minus the shell. 3 speed high low I think.”
“1946 Jeep Willy for sale. Engine ran 2 years ago, been sitting since, dead battery. Body in great shape, interior has been rhino lined. New plugs, dist cap, wires, rotor, condenser. Have new mirrors also. Wont take much to get it up and road ready. I have the tittle, however the previous owner filled it out incorrectly. I will give the buyer the tittle, a bill of sale and the paperwork that needs to be filled out and sent to Trenton for a new tittle. asking $1000 or best offer.”
I’d say this has seen some mud a few times. I’d guess not a whole lot of ’47’ left.
