About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“This is a very early (599th one produced!) 1949 CJ-3A with an L-134 Go-Devil 4 cyl engine, T-90 Transmission and D18 Transfer case. This runs but will be a serious project.
Frame:
Overall excellent. Some rust in spots but no rot or evidence of repair.
Body:
Extremely rough but minimal patches and/or bondo so you can see what you are dealing with. Worse tubs have been brought back to life with the little dedication and a MIG welder.
“Here is a cute little CJ2A I picked up a week ago that needs to find somebody with time to work on it. It looks like it is all complete, the engine turns over and some of the expensive things you never think about when figuring what a restoration will cost — like the seat springs are there. The gauges are all there, with a little tinkering it would probably fire up and run and go play. Or if you need parts — here they are. The little L head engines are getting hard to find, if I didn’t already have a good running one and a spare one for my 48 CJ I’d just keep this.
There are a lot of good parts here, these things have really gotten popular in recent years and the supply of some original parts is pretty slim. The gauges are worth money — the new Chinese ones are crap – the grill and starter and generator and wheels are all worth some bucks.
I just put 48 in the year, I don’t know exactly what year it is and the 113275 is actually the model number. I put parts only in for the title because I don’t have it in hand yet but they are supposed to be sending it to me. When I get the title it will have the year and all that on it — should be in the mail in a day or two.”
