Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is a 1946 Willys CJ2A. I received it to cover some debt owed. As you can see in the pictures it is extremely rotten & is for parts only. The engine appears to be complete but I have not tried to start it.”

(12/31/2015) This has more updates than appears at first glance. It’s got a Pinto rack and pinion steering.
“1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A, (5) new tires, paint, replaced front end with rack and pinion, new sets. Clean title inspected in July 2015. Engine is a 1975 pinto 4 cylinder. Runs great it a little cold but you could drive it home. The rack & pinion is from 1975 pinto. The engine Adapter is a “Novak adapter”
