This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Great Willys jeep for sale. 1942 Frame, motor, and front clip. 1946 tub. Famous flat head L134 Go devil engine. Was used in movies. The jeep runs and drives, also can be towed behind. WWII jerry cans and ax/shovel kit come with. Make an offer.”

“This Jeep has been around in the family for years, has originals parts but outer body needs some work. Definitely a restoration project I would think, but everything still there. Is 4 wheel drive. It has 2-5 Gallon Gas Cans, Front mounted Winch, Soft cover with doors, Dual Gas Tanks, Oversize radiator, Center Mount double rifle Rack and Front row bar in and hitch in rear This would be great for someone who loves these kind of cars because they are collectibles. Has awesome engine, 327 bored over to 331, compression pistons 10 1/2 to 1, 8 cylinders, has hot rod engine, The jeep is mechanically sound. Low, low gears for climbing. It has been sitting for years, so it will need some work to start it up I would think. The drive frame is fine, engine frame, axle, etc. are all good.”

“Selling my beloved 1947 Willys CJ2A. I’ve been plowing my driveways with this for almost ten years, before that it sat abandoned in the woods for about 35 years. It looks the same now as it did then, I have the pics to prove it! Always starts even in sub zero weather. Plow and four wheel drive work good. Clutch is good, lights work. Nothing made in China here folks, just old American iron made when men were men and women loved them! Charging system works, beacon works. No brakes or paperwork. Use it or restore it. Matching Sears trailer in similar condition included. Boat not included. Never thought I’d sell it, but have another truck with a plow and am consolidating.”

“1948 Jeep Willys, 307 GM Rebuilt Motor, frame and chasse restored, dana transmission cleaned and checked, new shocks, brake drums, shoes, cylinders and brake lines. New wiring harness kit, gas tank, steering wheel and horn kit. Lots of extra parts are still in their boxes.”

It has a rear PTO, but I don’t think it is hooded to anything.
“Selling this Willys CJ2A Jeep for parts or restoration. It is missing parts but may be a good start on a WWll Jeep project. Look at the photos and ask any questions. There is no title and rarely is on old jeeps. It will come as is just like in the photos. There is a vintage winch on the back of it that is worth quite a bit by itself. I just don’t have time for it. It’s not running but rolls freely. I know very little else about it. ”
