About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

(07/02/2014) With upgraded brakes and motor, this could be a nice little jeep with some work.
“This is a 1946 Willys Overland CJ2A, its the first production run of civilian Jeeps after the War. This Jeep has stock running gear except for 11″ brakes from a Wagoner and a 153 ci. 4cyl. Engine from an early Chevy Nova. The engine has low miles and was built by Napa in Grass valley. This Jeep runs very good and stops very good. The body is solid and has only surface rust on primer. Jeep comes with a spare tire and a soft top and doors. It has brand new Bridgstone AT tires on white spoke wheels. It has hanging peddles and master cylinder from an early Chevy truck. (05/28/2014) Here’s a true barn find, but at a restored price.
“1946 jeep willy CJ 2 with trailer an extra rear seat. Parked in barn for winter 30 years ago an there it stayed. When parked it ran an 4/4 worked. It’s dirty an dusty. There is one rust hole I seen on passenger floor board. Time for someone else to enjoy!“
“1947 Willys CJ2A Jeep motor runs excellent and has strong transmissions. Bought this for a hunting vehicle and now need the room in my garage. It has had a lot of work done to it since we have owned it. All 4 brakes have been rebuilt and are strong. New high performance radiator. Water pump was rebuilt 2 years ago. Very fun ride out in the woods but is not road worthy.”
“Have a 1947 Willys with a Oldsmobile V6 in it. This had been sitting for three years and fired right up. I haven’t started to clean this up yet and will be selling for big bucks after clean up. Very nice shape for a 65 year old car. I was just sold some old jeeps had a Buick v6 in them. I’m not sure about this one.”
“I have a Jeep Willy’s I’ll find out the year if your interested in it. Has rust and bondo on it. Still needs new metal here and there. We have everything for it execpt the seats. Motor is taken apart but everything is there. Tires are still good I believe, rolls but doesn’t steer. Price is $1500, don’t have to sell it I’ll just let it sit till I get around to it. Sould be a great son and father project or just a restoration job, you can easily make money off this Jeep! Title is a little weird but if your interested I’m it call or text me and I can explain it to you. Thanks”
