This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Listed as a 1948, this has a column shifter. Looking at the interior pic of the left side, this might have had indents that were filled in. Unclear how much value is here given the engine issue and body rust.

Listed as a 1947, the body looks to be a Lefty, so likely a 1948.

This could be a good deal. I would follow the fuel line or clean the tank, as it sounds like something is plugging up the fuel given the description.

“Cj2a in good shape very solid body it’s been stored indoors for last 20 years. I did have this jeep running briefly about 2 years ago. New seats gas tank and fuel lines. Tractor tires do not go with the jeep. I will put different tires on the Jeep if it sells.”
The pics are pretty small, so hard to tell much. I’m guessing this was not an original CJ-2L.
