This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Seller lists one jeep as a 1946 MB, but it looks more like a CJ-2A. The green jeep has a swoop entry that is similar to the prototypes, but the dash looks standard.

(09/17/2015) This includes a rare Porter Read hardtop.
“1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A. L-head four cylinder. Body in good shape, not perfect. Intake/exhaust manifold is off the engine. Well worth the effort needed to get it going. 12 volt conversion is started, the expensive parts are there. Spare engine block and manifold available for an additional $100.
Also have a rare, vintage Porter and Reed aluminum top for the jeep, includes the doors. Needs some minor repair. $500. Jeep buyer gets the first crack at the top. ”
