Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Selling my 1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A. original engine with only 74,000 miles. these jeeps are hard to find especially early years like this one. the engine turns over but needs work to finish but everything is there. the interior and the exterior has been re-done. truly a nice car. clean title in hand. asking $4,500 O.B.O open to offers.”

The whole body has been treated with Rhino Lining,Top and Bottom – forever tough.I’m selling this for a good friend of mine.He has had it for about five years,and only uses it for a yearly parade in Rossville IL. It lives it the garage the rest of the time. lol. It has the original motor and transmission. I started it right up to pull it out of the garage for the pictures.The speedometer doesn’t work. Brakes and clutch felt a little soft,but worked good. It comes with a BRAND NEW soft top, Never installed (see pictures).It is for sale locally, so may end auction at any time.”

(06/06/2015) The turbo 400 tranny has pushed the transfercase back a ways. That rear driveline must not be very long.

Pushing a factory rebuilt CJ transfer case with Dana 44 axles and a 4:10 gear ratio. And a Detroit locking rear differential. Comes with a new set of 33 x 10.50 super swamper TSL’s with a matching spare. A 10,000 pound winch with remote. New Rhino lined floor board. A softtop with doors for the winter and a bikini top for the summer. Custom rear rack for ice chest and fuel cans. Heavy duty tow bar with taillight plugin. K/C lights, rancho shocks, 6 inch lift, lots of extra parts . This is very dependable ride great for the trail or a everyday driver its also alot of fun at pismo. Clean title, and current registration in hand. Asking $7500 or best offer from serious buyers. No Paypal, cash only.”

It’s a project.
1944 CJ2A, bought this a year ago to restore but just cant get the time because of traveling for work. I have two engines for it one will rotate the other I purchased for the accessories and the Supersonic head that was on it. Pretty Firm on the Cash price but am willing to maybe trade for hunting tools. Just let me know what you have and text a pic. I do not have a title on the Willys but will provide a bill of sale so that a title 42 can be obtained.”

“Selling my toy. Stored inside, very good condition, original steel body, no rust, 4cyl. flathead, T90 3 speed trans., 2 stick transfer case. New top, wheels and tires, seats, gage’s, radiator, battery and master cylinder. 12 volt conversion with alternator. Set of original wheels included.”
