This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The body, transmission, and engine are surprisingly sound. The owner had taken many parts off and had obtained replacements including seats, and electrical wiring, but unfortunately was unable to finish the project. “For sale is a 1947 Willys Cj2a project jeep, this jeep has been partially restored available in its entirety or willing to part out. The frame has been sandblasted, new rear cross member, bed frame, and rear bumper have been welded in. Frame and axles have been primed and painted. I have a 2.5 inch rancho suspension lift installed, with rancho rs5000 series shocks. The motor (134 ci flat head 4 cyl.) has been rebuilt, bored .040 over, new pistons, valves, rings, bearings, machined crank, decked cylinder head. It has a 3 speed fwd and 1 speed rev. transmission, with transfer case and pto flange. have receipts and paperwork on all work done.”
