This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 Willys CJ2A It’s a “Lefty”. Moving Sale. Restoration project, ready for final assembly to build and paint as buyer wishes. Family owned for the past 30 years. Have some paperwork of previous owner history back to 1977, sorry no title. Engine rebuilt by Eriksson Industries in Old Saybrook, Ct., body restored by Continental Auto Body/F40 Motorsports in Portland, Ct., drivetrain gone thru by Brewster in Old Lyme, Ct. All the hard work done as pictures show, needs final assembly – have all parts, and final body work and paint. Reluctant to sell, but MOVING IN 3 MONTHS forces sale. Asking $4,900.00 or serious offers only please. (Sorry pics aren’t as clear as they should be, camera went on the fritz) Will return calls, txts, emails.”

“My father-in-law, a WWII Vet, is parting with his 1947 jeep. He has owned in since 1964. He rebuilt the engine, but it does need new wiring and breaks. It has been stored inside and comes with the plow attachment.”

Great little Jeep! Lots of fun, built for 4 wheeling, plenty of power and torque. Has been garaged and barely used for last six years or so. Over $30k spent. Listing for $6500 obo.

The 2A appears to be a VEC, but it looks more like a ’46.
“1945 & 53 Willy’s Jeeps For Sale / B.O. for both. (No splitting them up).
1945 is the one with the top/plow and is pretty much complete. The other is the 53, this one is pretty much a parts unit. Both Jeep’s need lots of work, but if you’re a Jeep fanatic they are diamonds in the ruff. Both are extremely hard to find, so no lowballing. . . ”

“1946 CJ2A Jeep with a 4 cylinder F4-134 Hurricane engine. The engine runs great and the drive train is in good condition. It was drivable when I parked it some time ago, but now needs master cylinder work. I do start the engine monthly, I do have some extra parts, transmission, front drive shaft and extra tires. This would be a great restoration or crawler project and is fun in the desert..”
