This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Due to another project I have decided to sale my 1948 Willy’s Project. Here is what I was told when I bought it. Engine totally restored. (It does appear this was dne) Frame cleaned painted new lines brakes etc. ( have not verified) I was told the transmission was rebuilt but there still appears to be allot of build up of gunk but everything seams to work. It is at a great place to start putting back together. You could either totally restore or build back and drive the crap out of it. Supposedly 100% of all the parts are there. Somebody has started cutting parts from the body and patch back but has a long way to go.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $16,000
Ready for the summer.
“Very origional and sound Jeep I restored a few years ago.
Painted to origional michigan yellow.
Engine rebuilt and runs great the transmission is tight and 4 wheel works like new. Still 6 volt electrical. Must see to appreciate.
I believe mileage to be correct but can’t prove.”

“1946 Willy’s Cj2a. Needs restored solid good axles tranny still has flat head 4 which is complete. Would be great project or if you need parts to finish one this would be it. Been in a warehouse for 6 years. It looks weird used to be camo and has been primed. $1500 firm not anything less sorry.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4700.
“1947 Jeep CJ-2A, original PTO winch, 401 Big Block, Dual Exhaust, Full Roll Cage, Aluminum Arctic Top, military front end, custom gas tank, brake rebuild (hard/soft lines, pads, etc), POR-15 interior coating, stock wheels on it now, also set of 31″ (non-matching). Jeep has collector plates ($200 value), never register again.”
It is supposed to include a 3-point hitch.
