This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Great jeep! Runs, drives, in good shape! Have used it for pulling logs and cruising the back roads. Has the F head engine in it. Needs a little work but good to go as is! Great for a project! To busy to enjoy it anymore, willing to negotiate a bit, or possibly consider a trade.”

I don’t see any reason to think this is a VEC or a ’45.
“1945 CJ2A civilian jeep. Original motor has been redone. Frame in excellent condition with a no rust body. Nice shape for the year. Was running a few years ago with a no smoke motor. Transmission and four wheel drive transfer case working properly.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200. This is a project. I believe this was bought and is being resold with additional parts.

This is a package deal. Brian Miller is selling these for what he paid. The one on the right runs, but has a rusted body. The body on the left isn’t rusty, but according to the tag it’s a CJ-3A body (though Brian didn’t seem convinced when I mentioned it). He’s got more parts that go along with the 2A/3A package. “For sale is an extremely clean 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A. This Willys Jeep came from Tucson, Arizona where the original owner purchased it new in 1948 and lived there until he decided to sell it to a gentleman in New Mexico over 10 years ago. After the Jeep came to New Mexico it had an older restoration done back in 2004. Soon after the Jeep was restored the owner drove it, and used it pretty regular so It’s not in show room quality anymore, but it’s still in amazing shape for its age. It has the original and very reliable 4-134 L Head Go-Devil engine that was completely rebuilt and runs excellent, also this Jeep is still running the original 6 Volt electrical system with a brand new battery that works flawlessly.
