Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Rebuilt from ground up. Unfortunately, rebuilt motor was not built well and needs replaced or rebuilt. Estimate for build available.

Probably more I’m forgetting. Jeep was loved and will make a great hunting or off-road weekend toy when finished. Motor is bigger F-head, but can be replaced with a L-head, V6 or other engine of your choosing.”

This is a project with MD Juan body kit.
“This Jeep is a project that I started about a year ago. I recently inherited another Jeep and do not need this one. This Jeep comes with a brand new body kit with Willys script that is still in the shipping crate. It comes with new hood, tailgate, fenders and inner and outer windshield. This is a late body with all the improvements.This body kit sells for $3750.00.You are getting the frame and everything else for $250.00! The frame is finished and has all new spring mounts (8), battery tray, front bumper with gussets, rear crossmember with gussets, pedal mount and front shock mounts. This frame has no rust out. All welding is completed. You will not find a better frame anyplace. This was a complete Jeep and comes with everything that I have for it except the motor. Comes with trans, transfer case, front and rear axles and much more.This Willys has a clear Delaware title in my name. All the hard work is done. I have much more than the asking price invested. I need room for another project.”

UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $1900.
Has some scuffing.
“This is a brand new body tub for the Willys CJ2A. This is a new reproduction. The metal is the same thickness as the original and all the hat channel has the wood inserts. You will have to drill the mounting holes and the pedal holes but that is simple. This is in primer and will need to be scuffed up before painting. This is the only one I have and it is priced way cheaper than wholesale.

(01/20/2015) Has no title. It’s listed as a 1950, but appears to be a CJ-2A.
“Selling a CJ-2A with a hard top.
Yellow CJ-2a, mostly original, has a hard top with full doors and original heater, transmission, transfer case, and axles. Frame is in good shape comes with a snow plow frame. Does not have an engine or snow plow, only frame.”

(03/23/2015) Has an unusual bumper.
“For sale is a 1948 Jeep Willy Cj2a. It is 98% original parts. It comes with original 4 cylinder engine with 3 speed manual transmission. 4 wheel drive with manual locking hubs. All gauges work. New master cylinder, and new brakes all around. Comes with 9000lbs rated wench and CB Radio. Also has to tow hooks in the back. Registered in Florida with clean title.”

— Jeep runs well but engine does smoke… a lot out the exhaust.
— Jeep drives and shifts through the gears fine.
— No brakes
— No glass in windshield
— Fuel pump doesn’t work so currently running off a gravity feed bottle.
— Not much rust on body
— battery tray is rusted out. battery must have leaked at one point.
— Has a clean title
