About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have an 1947 Jeep Willy’s CJ2A All Steele original body. 11 inch brakes. 32 inch tires. 1959 283 Chevy motor. 4 speed Chevy muncy 465 p/u transmission. Has 8,00lb wench on front”
“46 Willies CJ2A. 231 V6. New battery, radiator, carburetor, ignition, headlights, fuel tank, and fuel lines with filters. Runs great. Has been in doors for many years. Rough around the edges with some light body damage over the years. Comes with a roll bar and soft top with doors and an overdrive to add on. Still working on electrical for light and dash system. Not interested in negotiating since it’s coming into car season and I can sell it later.”
This is listed as a 1945 CJ-2A. The frame lacks frame horns and does not appear it ever had them. The windshield is not from a ’45. This appears to have a later frame, though someone has installed a 2A grille. Note the break and clutch pedal mods.
“1947 Jeep Willy’s. Fully restored. Factory flathead 4 cylinder with 3 speed tranny. 4.88 gears with a locker in the rear. Truck will go through anything. It’s got a 3 inch lift with 32×11.50×15. Painted a few years back. Truck is in great shape for how old it is. Full description in pictures.”
“Vintage vehicles in estate in person bid auction- March 30, Boonsboro MD. 1948 Willys jeep, 74 Jeep pickup, 76 Mazda, 1953 Chevy Belair, 1954 Chevy sedan delivery van, 1999 Plymouth minivan. Have titles in hand or in process. The weird wording of this title listing is the only way the form will let me list multiple vehicles!”
“1948 willys cj2-a This is a fun jeep to drive, it runs and drives down the road great and has a clean title. The fourwheel drive works as it should and it has been converted to 12volt system. Had plans to restore this jeep but have too many projects and not enough time. Its a good jeep to drive around the way it is or do a full restore and take it to car shows and parades”
“1947 jeep! It’s a running and driving military style jeep. It does need work on the brakes. I put a new clutch in it when I swapped the body. This isn’t a perfect jeep but it very solid. It’s converted to 12v. Lights are not hooked up. 4×4 works and this thing will go anywhere! I don’t want to sell but I’m putting up a new building and the toys gotta go! I have a vin verification from the sheriff’s office so a registration can be obtained”
