This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (05/07/2020) Probably a DJ-3A body on a CJ-3A chassis, but not enough pics to confirm it. This has the CJ-5 version of the hardtop with the rear windows. It is also an early version with the small rear window.

“1953 Jeep Willy’s. Dana 44 rear, Dana 30 drum brake front. 231 Buick V6, SM420 Trans, Dana 20 Tcase (also comes with a Dana 18 offset Tcase still in the Jeep and an offset 44 that’s not in the Jeep). 35″ procomp tires nearly new, front frame has been extended for longer wheel base and has a home built shackle reverse. I believe it has a Detroit locker in the rear and a lock right in the front. I just bought it but my plans have changed. Body is rough but fixable. Come look at it before making offers. I just bought it for $3500 and bought the Dana 20 for it to replace the Dana 18. I have tons of paperwork on it.”
Looks pretty stock. Has a rear PTO. May be converted to 12 volt.
