This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1950 CJ-3a fiberglass tub, steel grill and hood, decent frame, period correct hard top and doors come with it. 12 volt converted, starts, drives, got it running good today. “What I have for sale is my 1951 Willys Crawler. Here’s the build list… Titled 1951 Jeep CJ3A 3RZ engine, AW4 tranny, NWF Eco Box, Dana 300 with a 4-1 kit Triple Stick shifter. Front axle is a Dana 60 35 spline inner and outers with Yukon slugs 5.38s and a Detroit locker. Rear is a 14 Bolt with Rear Disks 5.38s and a spool Fox Coil overs on all 4 corners Air bumps on the Front with a 3 link. Rear is 4 linked with Trailing arm suspension. Steering is fully Hydraulic using Trail Gear and Eaton parts. Tires are some pretty crappy 38×13.00-16 swampers on stock style wheels (really the only bad thing on it…
No winch will be on it. Nor will the Pitbulls/Iroks that are also pictured. Basically, if I didn’t mention it and you see it in a picture, please ask about it.”

“1950 Willy’s Jeep. Runs good Buick v6 swap, front axle needs to be rebuilt haven’t had the time to pull the cover off to see what happened. Transfer case and everything else work great. New steering box. Pretty firm on price, may be open to some trades.”

This is listed as a 1946 CJ-2A, but titled as a 1949 CJ-3A. I’d say it’s more likely the 3A with a 2A windshield.
“For sale is a beautiful barn find 1940’s Jeep Willys. It was wonderfully restored by the previous owner. He was a military veteran who drove it in parades. I have cleaned and replaced fuel lines so that fuel flows clean and well. It has been converted to a 12 volt system with electric fuel pump. Engine runs and idles well. Rust free frame. Converted it to a tilt steering column with turn key ignition. All steel tub and the floors have been professionally converted to heavier metal. Includes bestop soft top in good shape. Small oil drip when engine is running, just needs a new oil pump gasket. Brakes work but should be checked to be fully road worthy. It is titled as a 1949 CJ3A. I believe it has the go devil L134 engine. Asking 7500 or best offer.”
