About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Andy shared this custom rig. Listed as a 1953 CJ-3A, it appears the body was formerly a DJ-3A (mostly likely a 1956 based on the 0-8 speedometer). It also has a DJ-3A convertible windshield.
“1953 CJ3A Truck, lots of new parts, recent build, Drivetrain is Buick 225 v6 Dauntless Oddfire out of a 1960’s CJ5. Starts, runs, and drives good, will go 65, 4×4 high low with locking hubs, rear PTO winch, very cool head turner. NY transferable registration, looking for offers cash or check. Not really looking for trades except Ford Broncos or sick rat rods, diesel trucks. $15,000 or best offer, I’ll drive it to your house”
Here’s another of the midwestern or eastern-made fiberglass flat fenders with the wide lip in the back. Listed as a 1953 CJ-3A, the chassis is actually a CJ-5 frame, so not sure where the “1953” comes from.
“Just testing the waters, CJ3A Willys in good running and driving condition. 6 volt, all original, lots of new parts. Lights, heater, cigarette lighter, wiper. No turn signals, not required in 1950. Can start with the hand crank, neat party trick. Comes with extra parts accumulated. 6k obo, or trades .Make an offer, all I can say is no. One more day, I’ll probably just keep it, it is a fun ride….”
“1951 Cj3A fiberglass front hood 283 motor does not run title in hand it ran at one time motor&trans not in thanks no trades thanks for looking keep in fowlerville”
“I am selling my CJ3A. I did a complete frame off restoration about 5 years ago. Go Devil engine was rebuilt at that time. Runs like a champ. It has been driven less than 1000 miles since the restoration.”
“Willys CJ3A for sale. Not sure about year. Not running but motor is not locked up. Tires are flat. Engine is an International slant 4 cylinder out of an International Scout. Mileage unknown. Sold as is with no title. Body is really rough”
This is worth a look. It appears to have a replacement body. Listed as a 1951, I can’t tell if it was originally an M-38 or CJ-3A or something else, though it does have a 2A windshield.
