Listed as a 1951, this jeep has a replacement tub. It does not appear to have an M-38 frame; rather, maybe a CJ-3A frame with the PTO bar removed? This seems to be a mix of parts.

“Jeep has no rust. Is a Navy-issued jeep with plaques. Has granny gear. Needs battery and two new front seats. Call for milage and full VIN number (too long more than 17 characters). Jeep has original toolbox with tools, gas can on rear and full canvas top.”
Only one pic included. No pic of the “spare” jeep.

“1949 Willy’s CJ3’s for sale, $7500. Run and drives. Price includes two complete Willy’s, a spare original all redone body and several new parts still in boxes. Price is firm, I hate saying that but I hate the guys who waste your time even more.”
It’s a project, but the engine runs.

“I have a complete and all original 51 CJ3A project jeep. Perfect for a full restoration back to original, not to cut it up to make wheeler.
Yes I still have it.
I don’t have anymore pictures, so don’t ask. If you’re a serious buyer you’ll just come look at it.
Clean WA title in my name.
Been sitting inside shop for last few years.
Tub does have some rust.

UPDATE: This appears to be still available.
(06/30/2019) Tom shared this oddity. This seems to be a late model DJ-3A body and windshield (design for a Koenig top) mounted on a (probably) CJ-2A chassis with a Meyer Half-top. That’s a combo I don’t think I’ve seen before.
