Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1949 Willy’s Jeep. I don’t know a lot about this one other than it runs and drives. It has leaks. It’s 4×4. It’s a manual transmission. It has an altimeter which probably means it was for military purposes when built. Was used on the ranch for fencing purposes. Has a title. No doors. No hard top. What you see is what you get. No trades.”

“Great running motor. It will need the carb cleaned. It’s been sitting in my shop for a while. It has a new radiator, gas tank, and seats. That’s what your paying for.
Comes with a second set of axles.

“This is an “oldie but goody.” It is a one of a kind, because I built it to do the Montana and Utah trails. It has everything:
Frame: CJ5, after market 2A body, Chev 4.3 fuel injected, Ford T18 transmission, model 20 transfer case with lower gears, 30 front end, 44 rear end, 4.88 gears, ARB lockers (front and back), power steering, power brakes, OME suspension, adjustable shocks. I have a new top still in the box.”
