Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Steve shared this ad. The jeep has an older body kit that mixed CJ-3A, M-38, and MB elements.

The Jeep was restored approximately 10 years ago, has been driven just 100 miles since the restoration and has been garage kept since its restoration. The frame and body are in excellent condition. The engine and transmission were rebuilt at the time of the restoration. Since being acquired by the owner the fuel system was replaced due to corrosion from long periods of non-operation. This Jeep is well maintained, looks great and drives well.”
UPDATE: This one now runs, but needs brake work.

This militarized 3A has been saved with a few patches. Looks solid.

Just pulled from a barn. Unsure if it will run.
“This is a 1952 Willy’s CJ-3A Jeep serial number 452- GB1 31628…. Has had some work done on it in the past, but still needs more.. Motor and drive train are complete and are original to the Jeep….. Not sure if it runs or not pulled it from a Barn in South Carolina…Body is rusty frame is good and solid with surface rust only….. Good starting point for restoration or use it for parts….
