About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Willys Jeep Painted Army Style..Body and Interior In Excellent Condition…Does Need A Gas Tank And Battery…Payment-Cash or Check Must Clear Prior to PickUp”
(08/28/2017) Looks like a nice jeep. It’s listed both as a “1954” and as a “CJ-2A”.
“This is a nice willys jeep for sale. Same owner for 45 years. It has a buick v6 and was restored about 12 years ago. Pto winch and roll cage. If you have any questions just call me.”
“This is a jeep survivor vehicle. All parts except for the gas tank are original. It has been titled under the same name since it was bought new in 1951. This is not a restoration. This is an original vehicle that has been maintained in working condition throughout its life. It is in excellent mechanical condition and includes such details as an original inverter for AC power. The vehicle was bought off the production line in Toledo Ohio. It’s been it’s early life in an apple orchard. It has never been driven on the road. It is more than just a Jeep it is a piece of Jeep history.”

“I am helping a friend sell his 1952 CJ-3A. Major problem is the engine has no compression on #2 and #3 cylinder. Was running up until that time approx. 3 months ago. Brakes have been rebuilt, some steering parts replaced, new windshield glass, new 12 volt battery. NEW NDT tires and tubes, wheels blasted and painted. Body tub is in fair but solid condition. Seats appear to be uncut original, with replacement upholstery. Cloth wiring is frayed/missing and the complete wiring harness should be repaired/replaced. Fuel tank is missing the sender unit.”
“This Jeep is a real vintage gem. It’s been in my family for more that 40 years and it breaks my heart to have to sell it. My father did a complete frame off rebuild and fixed or replaced everything about 20 years ago, keeping it as original as possible. It has been garaged ever since. Mileage is is around 20,000, body and interior are clean, engine runs well. Great fun to drive offroad and will go up to 40mph on road. Manual steering and transmission is 3 speed with manual high & low transfer case and 2 or 4 wheel drive. Front windshield folds down, we have added 2 removable extra seats in the back and safety rails for back seat passengers.
All it needs is tires and TLC.”
“I have a clear title. This Willys Jeep CJ3A is a great weekend today. It runs, drives, and even stops. It shifts smooth, rides decent, and is a Jeep that you can hop in and enjoy today.
Fitted with a front PTO winch that is fully functional. Engine does not smoke and has good oil pressure.
This Jeep came from Wyoming and thus the body is in pretty decent shape. There are some repairs on the drivers side and on the hood, but overall not a rust bucket. A couple small spots on the floor. It still has the original drain holes on the sides of the tub.”
“1951 Jeep with original 4cyl engine that has been rebuilt. Heavy duty radiator installed, windshield, new seats and gauges along with new hood and steering wheel. Have new exhaust and muffler but have not installed yet.
Runs great in 2 and 4 WD.
Asking $6,000 OBO”
