About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have most all the parts to get this classic running, just lost the drive to get it done.

“Selling this cj3a for projects or parts. Have a clean title for it. Basically just a rolling frame with drivetrain, cowl, windshield, grill, fenders and bumpers. Also have parts of a top that are in rough shape that can go with including doors. Engine will run but clutch is out. It has two jeep wheels and two random wheels. Aluminum wheel in photo not included.”
Seller lists this as a 1942, but it looks civilian to me.
“Really good project…got it in a trade and wanted to restore it but don’t have the time…Runs and 4×4 works but brakes do not….Solid Jeep…needs some TLC but we’ll worth the money”
“For Sale 1951 Willys CJ3. Not stock or running. Bought as a project in New Mexico. Have retire coursed, do not have the extra cash to finish. Has Rambler 6 cylinder engine, stock T-90 trans, and T-18 transfer case. Have done some work, changed out the old 15″ wheels for correct 16″ jeep wheels, and Cooper Cross Country tires. Rebuilt steering column, with new steering wheel. This comes with 2 Jeep / Kaiser 4 cylinder engines, bellhousings and clutch parts. Has clean and clear MO. title, with an original Arizona title. Body is rough, but not all rusted out like most from the midwest. This is 85% complete, but the good part, parts are available, and reasonable. WILL NOT SHIP….sorry too many scammers out there, and of course…CASH IS KING.”
“Original 1952 CJ3A survivor Willys Jeep. Less than 10500 original miles. 3rd owner. This jeep was purchased new by a college in Northern California and spent most of its life on campus. This jeep still is the original Normandy Blue paint from the factory. The body is still the original steel body with zero rust.
I took the body off the frame and redid everything as far as the running gear goes. The motor is rebuilt, new pistons, cam, rings bearings, clutch, valves etc. New brakes, brake lines and seals. The tires are like new in the original size 15 inch.
It has an overdrive. It has never had seatbelts installed or a roll bar. I have the original rear step bumper for it that was dealer installed in 1952.
The jeep did not come with a heater but I have an original Harrison heater that needs to be restored ; it also has an original factory 6 volt heater switch.
It comes with a Koenig hardtop in pieces that need to be restored. I have a “Tight Steer” for the steering box that is not installed. It has cutlass pwr lock hubs on it and comes with a set of “Warn” summer hubs from the 50’s.
Seats have been redone to original and it still is 6 volt and has the foot starter. All original gauges and they work.
“Rebuilt jeep. New suspension , Brakes, Lines, Fuel Tank ,Motor rebuilt ,New Transmission Lights ,Etc. Also have a lot of parts to go with it ,Spare frame with drivetrain ,Rims, Transmission ,Bell housings, Tote full of small stuff , etc. This jeep is road ready. Needs the seats upholstered and may need a another master cylinder, Everything is new but brakes spongy but do work’
(11/30/2016) Not sure why only part of the front bumper is painted green?
“1950 willys Jeep military V8 conversion 283 four barrel has a oil leak leaking from the oil pan needs a new oil pan and it could use a new clutch but it starts and runs pretty good call for more”
“I’m selling my 51 Willy’s. I bought if about 6 months for a restoration project. However I now have no time to complete this project because of work and will most likely be moving in the coming future. Since I bought it I have got it running. The tires are in good shape. I changed the starter to a brand new high torque starter, new coil, and new high solid state distributor. The Jeep now runs and drives. I am a little flexible on price. I also have two front wheel and hubs for the jeep in the box. I also have tooling compressor, jack, and jack stands for additional price.”
