This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It has a fiberglass body. Has some extraneous diamond plate. Gas tank has been moved to the rear, along with the filler.
“1948 Willys Jeep. orginal frame,trans.rear end. Has a V-6 buick engine-fiber glass C3 body. Looks nice and runs good. Needs new brake shoes. Bought it at a benefit auction thinking i could get it in my enclosed carport with my truck but came up 2′ short. Has a canvas top not shown in the pics. It’s an early 3A.

Serial # 13164. Body tag # 12591.
134″ 4 cylinder F head engine. 3 speed manual.
Hood has been modified to accommodate the F head engine. Replacement hoods available. No seats.”

Here’s another body that’s a hybrid CJ-5-flattie. Appears to have an MB/GPW windshield.
“this 1951 Willy’s was a gift for my wife. it has had over $3500.00 worth of parts and labor done to it. new transmission tires rims all new brakes on and on!! it has classic plates and tags. so when you put some tail lights on it you can drive it on the road. it need some seats ! the starter bendix just went out so it needs the starter rebuilt.”
The funky hardtop seems familiar. Have we seen this one before? Seller believes it to me a 1947, but the rain gutter suggests it is a 3A, so the year is likely 1949 or later.
