This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Up for sale 1949 Willys CJ-3A. 4cyl. New tires, shocks. Many new parts on the engine, pertronix upgrade mini starter, new water pump and aluminum radiator, new carb and fuel tank. Just needs fuel line finished for it to run. Landed a 53 CJ-3B so moving on.”
It’s got a Bobcat body and hood. Seems like there is value here. It may have Allstate (or Husky) Hubs.

“I have 1948 Willy’s jeep for sale or trade it’s a project but the engine turns over starts on starting fluid . Needs a new gas tank and a new battery that’s all that I know that is wrong with it . This is supposed to be Ward Canaday’s jeep. It does appear to have some rust.
“This is Ward Canaday’s Jeep. He was President of Willys/Overland during WWII and considered the Father of the Jeep. It’s a mostly original unmolested 1953 CJ3A wich runs great. It’s still runs on the 6 volt system and I’ve replaced the windshield, muffler and rebuilt the carb.”

New shocks and new springs.
It was runs and drivable but parked so long and the timing was off. You need to bring your trail to tow.”
UPDATE: This is now being sold by a dealership. The lengthy list of “Vehicle Options” is quite strange.
(10/11/2022) This jeep came out of the Fresno, California, area and has been for sale previously. It’s got a Muller top, expanded windshield, and doors similar to some other California-jeeps from that region. One thing I hadn’t noticed was that the generator has a power steering pump mounted behind it. Is that out of some vehicle? It seems like a handy setup.
