About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1949 Willy’s CJ-3A with professionally rebuilt engine and transmission, all original running gear, original 6V power, aftermarket seats (originals were completely destroyed), tonneau cover, fiberglass top, mostly restored but still needs some work if you want it to be completely restored. Needs new brake drums but otherwise in great running condition and looks good. This Willy’s is meant to be driven and enjoyed.”

“1950 Jeep CJ-3A. The engine was removed a while back. We do have another L134 here that could go with this for extra $$. The rest of the drive train is still intact. This was brought in as a parts Jeep to go with the other 1950 CJ-3A we have listed, but we think someone might be interested in resurrecting this one as well. ”
“I have a running and driving 1951 flat fender cj3a up for sale. It runs rough, the carb could use a rebuild and the choke cable needs adjusted. The transmission works good. The 4×4 works good. It has a new gas tank, fuel pump and filter. The engine is burning oil and smokes while running. It just started over heating, I’m guessing it needs a new thermostat. The starter is needing to be rebuilt. You can see the condition of the body in the pictures. The frame is in good shape. Clean title.”
(12/13/2014) “This is a very nice original ’51 CJ3A. Very little rust (only surface). Has only been stored indoors. Runs great (all work documented and available), brand new tires (approx. 50 miles driven), and clean title.”
(10/18/2014) It needs a little bit of work according to the seller.
“1951 Willys CJ3A
It’s time, and it has been decided that we should sell the father /son project that has been around for years. Grandfathers Willys was driven, modified, fixed, used and enjoyed. Lots of trips to the Sierras for club runs, poker runs, and off roading. It has been a great vehicle but 17 years later has now been parked and not driven anymore with all of life’s changes.
If you know off roading, fourwheeling, or Willys, you know what you’re looking at. Please call to setup a inspection and more details.
This little rig runs great and crawls over just about anything. But, it still needs some things finished on it.
It has current tags and is insured.
So here’s a quick rundown of what it is now.”
