This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1951 Willys CJ3A
It’s time, and it has been decided that we should sell the father /son project that has been around for years. Grandfathers Willys was driven, modified, fixed, used and enjoyed. Lots of trips to the Sierras for club runs, poker runs, and off roading. It has been a great vehicle but 17 years later has now been parked and not driven anymore with all of life’s changes.
If you know off roading, fourwheeling, or Willys, you know what you’re looking at. Please call to setup a inspection and more details.
This little rig runs great and crawls over just about anything. But, it still needs some things finished on it.
It has current tags and is insured.
So here’s a quick rundown of what it is now.”

(11/01/2014) Not sure if this is a 2A or a 3A.
“This is (as registered) a 1951 Jeep Willys CJ-2a 4×4. It has a buick V6, 3spd tran, dana 25 and dana 27 running gear. I put a new wiring harness, gauges, LED brake and turn lights, new seat coverings and a por-15 paint job. Included is the tire carrier, spare tire, two gas cans, all spare parts, paint and the rifle rack in the middle. This jeep was used for hunting and is extremely reliable but it also looks good to drive into town. It is currently registered (Nov 2015). You can either drive it home (45-50 mph and a 5 gallon gas tank) or tow it home behind your tow vehicle.
I have seen the other Willys for sale on Craigslist and know that the $3600 for a fully running, registered and reliable Willys is priced to sell. Cash only, no shipping, no trades. Email to set an appointment time. Thank you.”

“Up for sale is a 1949 Willys CJ3A. I do not have a title for the truck. The truck was the start of a frame off restoration that was never completed. The body needs work replacing floor sections. “Don’t have the time and money to keep investing into project. Also moving and don’t want the hassle of moving it. I do have a title for the Jeep.
Three speed manual transmission with reverse. 4×4 works. Top speed of about 45-50. Has a rebuilt transmission, transfer case, clutch, carburetor and new radiator. Needs new battery and generator or great time to upgrade to 12V system. Also could use new brakes in the near future. After a jump, it runs great! Has a PTO, not currently installed, Speedometer, temp and volt gauges work, others don’t. Also has a stereo/CD player with auxiliary 12V battery that needs to be charged via a trickle charger or external charge method. BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires with after market black rims. Also have original tires and rims.”
Hard to tell how much jeep is here.
