Poor thing.
“I have an old Jeep Willys free to first taker. Was in great shape before barn fire. Had a flathead v8. Not really sure if there is anything salvageable but it does look cool.
You haul. Would love to see it gone by this weekend.
No title (also unsure as to exact year).”
It runs, but has no title.
“1940 Willys jeep with original motor and transmission, 3 speed transmission with 4wd and the engine is a flat 4. No registration or title because it’s so old it’s only possible to have a registration but I don’t have the correct one. Runs and drives to a certain extent. Lights aren’t wired up, has a 6 volt system and seems like it was in the process of being turned into a 12 volt system, breaks don’t work, probably needs a master cylinder and all new wheel cylinders. Open to trades, $1800 OBO”
Seller might part out as well.
“I am selling my 1952 Willys Jeep Project:
Freshly painted body in original “Michigan Yellow”
Turn Key 4.3 Chevy Motor
Saginaw Power Steering pump and power steering box
Turbo 350 Trans
Dana 18 Transfer Case
Dana 30 front axle off of a CJ7, with 4.56 gears and disc brakes
Ford 9″ rear end with 4.56 gears, and Detroit Locker
35″ General Grabber Red Label tires (95% tread) on steel wheels
56″ leaf springs front and rear
I am considering parting this vehicle out so please let me know if you are interested in any parts.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
It doesn’t run.
“it’s a 1949 cj-3a, motor ran fine before it sat for 3 years. I have kept the hood on and the intake has been covered up the whole time. It has had some starter and brake line work done (brakes are not working).
I recently put on new plugs and changed the oil, but haven’t had time to do much of anything else, that is why I’m selling it.
Overall it is in pretty good shape, definitely would make a solid platform to restore from. Gas tank is ok, as are the seat frames.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $700
(01/08/2016) Looks like some value here.
“I have for sale this cj3a jeep. It does not have a title, sold as parts only. It comes with the tub, fenders, grill, tailgate, steering sector, heater, both axles, skid plate, one drive shaft, bell housing, transmission, transfer case and gauges. This jeep does not come with an engine or radiator. One of the hubs has the lug bolts cut off. It does have rust through but still has several good parts..”
Includes an overdrive and halfback.
“Selling a 1952 CJ3-A, 90% restored.
– Overdrive
– Front disc brakes
– 12 Volt
– Half Cab
Great shape. Would take a 97-2006 Wrangler trade or partial trade.”
If this runs, it’s worth a look.
“I have a 1949 Willys Flat Fender Jeep CJ3A for sale. This is a very solid jeep ready for restoration. Runs and drives well, and can be used as is. This one has the high and low range with 4 wheel drive, all of which works perfectly. Brakes are good, and steering is tight. Has a fabricated front bumper/brush guard and towing hitch. Sold with bill of sale only; Georgia does not title vehicles this old.”
Looks like some good parts.

Also a 1950 cj2 willys, new engine, it needs the wiring hooked-up and clutch.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500.
Looks nice.
