Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is definitely a project takeover Jeep that runs just needs a starter. Has a 6 volt system battery would need to be charged again as it’s been sitting for a while. The project was too much lot of sheet metal welding was done still a good amount needs to be done before the front for the most part it’s complete. The seats are newly reupholstered. Windshield is cracked. It’s an old Jeep Willy army vehicle. Come check it out if you’re interested and we will set up a time. Registration fees are due on it as seen in picture. Mileage is unknown currently but I just put 50,000 on it I’m sure it has about that in its lifetime from 1949”

Body was sand blasted and zinc primed by my father who owned this for many years and was in process of rebuilding it before his passing”

“Up for sale 1949 Willys CJ-3A. 4cyl. New tires, shocks. Many new parts on the engine, pertronix upgrade mini starter, new water pump and aluminum radiator, new carb and fuel tank. Just needs fuel line finished for it to run. Landed a 53 CJ-3B so moving on.”
It’s got a Bobcat body and hood. Seems like there is value here. It may have Allstate (or Husky) Hubs.

“I have 1948 Willy’s jeep for sale or trade it’s a project but the engine turns over starts on starting fluid . Needs a new gas tank and a new battery that’s all that I know that is wrong with it .
