About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1951 Willys Jeep for sale. Was dissembled for full restoration. All parts included. Ready to either be reassembled or restored, this was a good running jeep. Please email me your phone number and I will call you. Thanks for looking.”
It’s lacking some rear lights. It looks like the windshield has been enlarged.
“I have a 1950 jeep willys cj3a similar to the cj5 but it’s more awesome and it has the flatfenders first off I’ve put a lot of money into this thing and it is a extremely capable off-road rig and it’s reliable enough to daily drive I started with a brand new wiring harness from ez wiring and all connections were heat shrinked wiring is complete enough to drive and be street legal other than a license plate light I left the gauge wiring incomplete until I bought new gauges but now I’m not gonna have the time for it. I also had 4 brand new b f Goodrich km2 33×10.5×15 mud terrain tires. Tires have 0 miles on them mounted on 4 new black rock crawler wheels. Also had a gmail s10 steering column with tilt. has a brand new suspension in the form of a complete Holbrook long leaf kit (research them seriously do it) a brand new complete bestop tiger top with doors. Come check it out also I have a sm465 that I had planned for a swap but that never happened you could have if u like”
“Cj3A flat fender jeep with a flat4 not currently running bit wouldn’t take much to get it going. Brand new aluminum radiator, motor is clean, carb needs rebuild kit installed and put back on engine and it will fire right up. Don’t have time to play with it any more so it needs to go. 1000 obo.”
Listed as a 1947 CJ-2A, Jim took a look at this and discovered it had a CJ-V35 data plate. He reports the “owner said he has not started it in 15 years….all tires rotted, floorboards rusting through. He says it is a CJ2A and I checked the firewall plate and it is a CJ V 10800. . . . Nice seats and windshield though.”
“This is a 1949 CJ3A that I bought about 5 years ago for $600. I saw it sitting in someone’s backyard and made them an offer. I have pictures of when I found it and pictures of it at home in my drive way. Over the next two years after I bought it I started stripping it down to perform a frame off restoration. I was not able to finish the project and now I have the entire jeep you see in the picture in 500 pieces in my garage. It has the L-134 inline 4 cylinder motor, T-90 transmission, Dana 18 transfer case, front axle Dana 25 and rear axle Dana 44. Everything is original to the jeep. I do have a clear title for the vehicle. Best offer and a trailer takes her home. I could possibly deliver all the parts as long as you are within a reasonable distance of my house.”

James forwarded this gem of an ad. Looks like there are military and civilian jeeps for sale here.
“I recently purchased an estate of Willy’s CJ Jeeps and Parts, and I think I am ready to see if anyone needs parts or project vehicles. Mostly vintage with many early Willy’s CJ2A’s in complete condition and various stages. I have tubs also, some even bead blasted and ready to go. Looks like a fair amount of CJ5 and possibly early CJ7 as well. Look at the photos, that will give you an idea, most of the vehicles with wheels have complete drive trains. There are many loose front ends, rear ends, transmissions, and engine parts, as well as body parts.”
“Great off roading jeep, flat fender willys. Lock right lockers, front & rear, full roll cage, spare tire carrier with rack & gas can holders, front disc brakes, f head 4 cylinder engine with weber carb, 15 inch mickey Thompson aluminum wheels dual shock each corner, lots of extra parts.”
This has a newer body kit. Looks good for the price.
“1952 JEEP RUNS GREAT. OLDER RESTORATION. GARAGE KEPT. COMPLETE NEW STEEL BODY KIT. 4 CYLINDER FLATHEAD. 3 SPEED STICK. SOLID FRAME. NO SMOKE. NO KNOCKS. TWIN STICK FOUR WHEEL DRIVE WITH LOCKOUT HUBS. NEW BEST TOP. NEW CANVAS SEATS. GOOD BRAKES. 6500. OBO.”
“Running very well (rebuilt 4 cyl. engine) with Warn overdrive and hubs-5 Good tires but body has some rust. Very original. nothing missing. Gauges, lights all working. Factory shop manual. OG lug wrench and jack. Clear title. Stored in barn for years. Brakes need attention. Has enclosed canvas top. New battery. Not recommended for inexperienced mechanic. Cash only, no trades”
Advertised as a 1952 CJ-3A, this looks more 2Aish, though it has full floating rear hubs. It doesn’t include wheels or tires.
“Project jeep, no drivetrain, the former owner started cutting the motor mounts out to install a small block, so you have some welding work. No title, bill of sale only. Perfect for a rock crawler, sand racer, or as a parts Jeep.
I bought this strictly for the military wheels and tires, it does NOT come with wheels and tires. If you bring a set of rollers, I’ll change them out in 10 minutes for you. Or, if this Jeep is pre-paid, I can deliver it to you for gas money, and remove the wheels when I get there. “
