Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have cut up my parts Jeep–1953 M-38 , I kept the motor and trans, body was shot. If it’s not sold I will scrap it. It has clear title. The two rear tires & wheels don’t go with it. Come take front end or steering[any parts off] and I’ll scrap the rest. $150 obo”

Here’s an interesting project.
“Custom aluminum jeep cnc waterjet cut 1/8″ thick and welded by areo space welder. It is modeled after the mb military jeep. It sits on a very strong custom cnc cut box frame with 4″ lift suspension. This jeep is the ultimate build platform for offroad or onroad . polish the aluminum and one of a kind. If you don’t want the swampers I will take $5200.00 firm. No motor trans. transfer but I have some options.”

“Totally restored 1950 Jeep CJ-2 I need room in my garage so I want to sell it. Asking $9,500 I have $12,000 into it. but i have had my fun with it so time to move on.
1,500 mile since the complete restoration.”

(09/13/2014) Runs, but is a project.
“1950 Willys CJ3A in overall good shape – needs some work/restoration but a great start. The engine is complete and does start/run.
Needs brakes gone through, also needs new fuel lines. Tub has had some fiberglass repairs done over the years. I put a new carb and fuel pump in it, battery is relatively new (less than a year), new cap/rotor, wires, plugs, oil and filter.
It’s a bit of a project but a great start for someone. Call or email if interested.”
