No title. Hasn’t run in a while.
“Vintage CJ3A Willys Jeep. THERE IS NO TITLE. Serial number 452 GB1 15021. Has original flathead four cylinder engine, 3 speed transmission, and is 4 wheel drive. The engine ran when parked (6 years ago), and is not stuck. The tires hold air. The running gear is in ok shape. The body is in rough condition. 16″ OEM wheels. The tires hold air. This Jeep has been modified and was used as a hunting truck. Has built in tow bar (uses a 1 7/8″ ball). What you see in the pictures is what you get. THERE IS NO TITLE.”
UPDATE: Still Available
(04/20/2014) Given the winch, the rims and other parts, there’s some value here.
“This is a good Jeep worth fixing. It ran and drove but has been sitting a while. The body is rough but fixable, the frame is good, and the 4×4 works. Engine should start with a battery and gas but no promises. It leaked coolant at the thermostat last time it ran. It will need carb work to idle properly. No brakes. They used to work but pedal now goes to the floor. Has a newer radiator in it.
231ci Buick v6 swapped in from a ’81 Regal. Original trans and transfer case. 2″ lift leaf springs. 15×10″ wheels with old 35″ tires. Good winch, good clutch, good top, good windshield, decent roll bar.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This has an unusual top. It has the suicide door style.
” Picked this up off a ranch in Montana. hadnt run in years, replaced the gas tank, fuel line, changed the oil, rebuilt the generator, and carb, bled the brakes It started {smokes a little} runs, drives, and stops. 4 wheel drive works, all gear oils were up but could be changed. The cloth covered wiring isnt so good any more but things like lights and gauges seem to work.but it should be rewired.
There is some rust in the body support brackets and cabin floor but its not extensive. The tub is in good shape over all, the drivers seat is not original. It has the 16 inch tires.
It came with the Aluminum “Arctic” brand top you see on it. The doors all open, and the top itself is pretty solid if you wanted to keep it.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $4500.
