This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Has a few mods.
“1953 Jeep Willy’s with Chevy V-8 engine. Three speed original tranny. No rust. Have cover.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
Seller lists this as a ’46 in two spots, a ’47 in a third spot, and as a CJ-3A. To top it off it has a MB grille.
“1946 willys CJ3A 4×4 military version, rebuilt engine, new top, needs little to be finished. 5500.00 obro.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200.
This was last for sale in Silverdale.
“Great tires, Runs Great, 5.38 gears? in Dana 44 rear with Detroit Locker, Dana 27 front with Lock Right. Rebuilt Ford Pinto motor, approx. 20 hrs on motor, 3 speed trans., Dana 18 transfer case. New master cylinder but brakes still bad, transmission growls. $2200 with Warn 8274. $1800 without.”
It appears fairly stock. I can’t tell if the engine has been updated.

(05/14/2014) It’s a project.
“1951 CJ3a needs to go. I no longer have time to complete the project due to other family obligations.
Asking $1000 as I have at least that much just in new parts.
What I have:
1951 CJ3a – Serial number 451-GB1-29540. Build #19540 out of 44,158 units built that year.
NO TITLE. I checked with the Ga DOT and due to the age and state of repair, it can be re-titled with just a Bill of Sale.

This has a cracked block.
“1949 willys jeep CJ3A.Brand New brakes, shocks, 31″ tires, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap, coolant has been flushed and all hoses replaced, brand new bikini top with custom fabbed mount,. this is truly a nice WW2 era willys in great condition. has a cracked block on original flathead motor. great for project to restore please inquire for more info”

This has an odd front bumper. The body doesn’t have a gas inlet on the side or back.

(05/05/2014) Doesn’t run. Listed as a 1950, but it looks like a 2A to me.
“This jeep can be used for parts or restored. Missing a few things, but 85-90% there. Engine does not run. Small rust holes here and there, not serious. All running gear complete,rolls so it is towable.odometer shows 70k”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was at auction.
This jeep will be part of an estate auction. Has the body been sprayed with a bed liner? Kind of looks that way.
