If you are looking for a classic Flat hood Jeep that is also a trail machine, this Jeep is for you! This was a full ground-up rebuild/restore. Photos were taken in October 2012. I have photos of the Jeep being built and almost all of the receipts. This Jeep was appraised in 1999 at $30,000 by Colorado 4X4 Specialists. It has maybe 5,000 miles on it since then. Never really rough 4 wheeled.
Upgrades include: Chevrolet 4-bolt main 350 Engine; Transmission is Sm-465 Chevy 4-spd. with Advanced Adapter; Centerforce 11″ clutch and pressure plate; Ring & Pinion 4.88 Front and Rear; Warn Winch Model 8274 with remote control; Warn Overdrive; Axles: Dana 27 front with Posi/Dana 44 rear full floater axles with Posi; Air compressor with tanks, gauge and shut off; Custom made stainless steel firewall, bumpers, wheel well, 28 gallon gas tank, motor mounts, skid plates, radiator mount, battery box, transmission cover, custom tilt dash. Listed at as 1950, it’s clearly got a CJ-2A body. Needs tranny (and more).
