Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (05/29/2012) This has a fiberglass body that has been modified a bit.

You’ll need a passenger side panel at the very least. This appears to be a mix of parts.

1.damaged rocker panel cut out and stock replacment welded in

3. needs all brake lines & hoses
4.needs battery and batt box
5.wiring is all there but needs hooked up
Super nice body not rusted out, bodywork and paint are in good shape, seats are good and have pass seat and rear bench.
This willys is a 1943 ford gpw with a cj3a body and windshield,it needs alot of work and alot of fit&finish but has alot of potintial
and a great 4wheeler.I think its well worth my 4500$ asking price

(04/11/2012) At first I thought this was a DJ-3A, but the side gas inlet suggests to me this is a CJ-3A.
“Need to sell 1955 Jeep CJ Willys! Does not run just needs battery and tires. Everything else is good. Its worth a pretty penny but i need a new car to start my job next week. (07/17/2012) The windshield looks like a CJ-3B windshield, only taller? Or is that my imagination. The installation of the steering wheel was unusual . . .
“This is a 1948 jeep willys. Many mods/upgrades have been done. It has a compklete fiberglass body kit installed. It has a v-6 225 with headers and a holley intake. The motors runs but may have a blown head gasket, mily oil. It has a pto with a 10,000# winch. Also, having cnc hyd. conversions with rack and pinion steering. The tires are like new goodyears. Although this is a complete running jeep it does need work. I have a clear MI title but the vin tag is gone from previous body change. Call 419-602-3343. 1500 firm. Other parts aval. ”
Put a nice paint job on this and it will be ready to go. Looks good. Given we live in Pasco, this can’t be too far from me.
