This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 44 Ford Flat fender jeep. It has a newly rebuilt body sitting on a cj5 frame with a dana35 up front and a 44 in the rear with brand new 488 gears in both.It has a spring over done along with a reverse shackle. It has a top and doors and roll bar.It has no motor, tranny, or transfer case.
I also have a 1942 willies flat fender complete, but needs to be finished. These are project jeeps that I can not afford to finish. I also have some spare parts like t18 4speed and a dana60 high pinion rear end and a dana 60 low pinion front end out of a 1 ton 79 ford that we might be able to make a deal on.Thanks for looking, and if you are interested give me a call.”

That’s the most louvered hood I’ve seen on a jeep. Interesting build.

Listed as a ’48 and a CJ-3A, so unclear if it is a 2A or a 49 or later. It appears to have a replacement body at the very least.
