“Jeep just went under a body off restoration
Rebuilt transmission
Rebuilt transfer case
Original flat head four cylinder engine
All electrical changed to 12 volt system with alternator
Still has mechanical fuel/vacuum pump but is not used , it is using an electrical fuel pump with in line fuel filter
All other mechanical has been gone through and serviced , all is in great working order
New glass and rubber
New hood tail gate and other body panels, all rust has been cut out and new panels welded in, and body work done right
Brand new seats”

(05/23/2013) The seller labels this a WWII Jeep in the Craigslist title, but it looks more like a CJ-3A.

“I have a Willys Jeep that would be a great base for a restoration project. The motor purrs, and was just put in after being gone over thouroughly. It starts quickly and idles effortlessly.
The body is a little rough, but everything is mostly there and needs only time and TLC.

You basically have to see it to assess what you need to do. It will make someone a nice project because the basics are all there pretty much. It is driveable as you can see in the pics.
Finding one of these driveable is rare (unless restored), and most aren’t even a rolling chassis.

If you want to see it, it will be at the Ripkin Stadium in Aberdeen, Maryland this weekend for the Military Flea Market. Come and see it and make me an offer !

“The Jeep is a 1946 CJ2A with a flat head 4 cylinder which is mostly complete. It runs and drives good but the starter is out of it so it can only be started by pull starting it. This jeep has a clear Wisconsin title. I am asking 900.00 o.b.o.”
