(09/15/2013) I like this old modded flattie. It even has a rare 198 Buick V6. The old top is great, too. Includes an overdrive.

Willys Jeep runs, current registration,
Clean title.
Full roll cage, padded,
seat belts,
20 gallon custom gas tank plus stock tank under the seat.
Warren overdrive,
Warn lock out hubs,
Original black license plates,
spare tire rack,
built in CB Radio.
Tow bar.
Extra heavy duty bumpers.
5th wheel trailer dolly on front bumper is removable. Also trail hitches at both ends of the Jeep.
No rust. Detailed record book going back to 1969.”

There might be value here, but the pics were small.

“This Willys was just recently saved and is ready to be restored. It ran when it was parked last year. Includes engine and complete drive train. Engine turns freely and is not locked up. Oil level is still good. It is missing the starter and air cleaner. Floor board is there but rusting out pretty good. Drive shaft to rear is there but broke and will need repair. Will need some seats, a previous owner just threw some seats in it at some point just to be able to use it. Flip down windshield is solid. 2 piece windshield glass cracked. Body of course rusting but is still solid. Has original rims, will need a few tires. She’s rough right now but has great potential! No title. Vin plate reads CJ-3A 57720. mostly origional has had carbs rebuilt and also upgraded to 12v battery.
im not mechanicly inclined enough to fix er up. i would love to keep it but it will just sit an rot with me its been covered the past few years but the elements could still get to it.

(08/28/2012) This has the expanded windshield mod.  There looks like some nice cage work done, too.  I’ll bet this was a Fresno area jeep at one point.

“1951 Willys CJ3A (Jeep)

Complete frame up restoration. The body is all metal, not one bondo repair. All Original driveline with a 12v conversion. Runs between 10 and 30 psi hot and cold (see photo). Everything works, electrical, gauges, 4wd, etc. It is wired for turn signals, but turn signal hardware and bulbs are not installed. Beechwood canvas seats. Runs like it would have 60 years ago. It will go anywhere. It just won’t go anywhere fast. Add an overdrive if you want to go faster than 45 mph.

I kept it as original as I could. I only added a 1″ Superlift suspension lift and 1/2″ shackle lift as well as 31×9.50 Super Swampers, a CJ5 rollbar and a 12,000 lb electric winch.

Titled and Registered in my name (Tennessee).

$8500 OBO. May be interested in trades: 1928-1953 Fords with flathead V8, early ford parts, or maybe a solid CJ5, 7 or 8. But I won’t be adding any cash, straight up or your trade plus cash.”

Unclear why the hood was cut, as the engine looks original.
