This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (11/06/2011) The rear loop of the roll cage is unusual.
“I am selling my 1951 jeep willys cj. Runs great, drive it at least once a week. Upgraded engine to chevy el camino engine. Plenty of power to turn the 33 inch mud tires. Windshield folds downs on top of hood, no doors, lights work good. Having a baby and must sell ASAP. Please only serious inquires, write me through link. Don’t ask questions like; “still available”? $3200 obo.”

(06/06/2011) It might be a repo, but it’s also worn based on the windshield gasket marks. I might have posted this one previously.
“I have a 1950 reproduction flat fender body, complete with body tub, fenders, hood, grille, spare tire carrier, seats, windshield, arctic insulated aluminum hard top, doors. All of it is in excellent condition and the body parts are all solid with no rust. It is currently painted olive drab green. If interested please call David @ 503-803-0648”

It’s a project.
“This is a project that I just can’t seem to finish. No more motivation, interest shifting back to old Camaros.
Here’s what it has:
New frame made from 2×3 and 2×4 box steel, stretched 8 inches (original frame comes with it)
Tub, stretched 8 inches in the cab, no tailgate
Stock flat fenders, grille and hood
Windshield frame with good glass (glass is out) and wiper motors (unknown if they are operable)
YJ springs, spring over configuration
New shackles, spring mounts and spring bushings
Dana 44 rear axle with 5.38 gears (stock)
Narrowed Dana 44 front housing from 75 Dodge, with outers from 85 Power Wagon and new rotors (no axle shafts, unknown R&P)
New Cragar black 8 hole 15×10 rims
New Dunlop Mud Rover 35×12.50r15 tires (rolled in and out of the garage a few times)
76 Chevy tilt steering column with new GT steering wheel
Two high back bucket seats
Buick 231 engine (disassembled, unknown condition, was going to have it rebuilt) with a Holley and Edelbrock aluminum manifold
Ford T18 tranny (unknown condition)
Dana 18 T-case (disassembled, unknown condition)
Has VIN plate and clear title, currently non-op status
With the stretch and the springs mounted to the bumpers, wheelbase is 96″”

(01/03/2012) I’m wondering if this is a fiberglas body? The driver’s seat and steering has been moved to the middle.
