About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

The truth in advertising here? “1952 Willys Overland CJ-3A runs, drives, might stop.” I can’t say I’ve ever seen a grille damaged quite like that. Check out the gear shift in the third pic. It’s also a mix of CJ-2A and 3A.
“Here’s the good: This vehicle runs well. -Starting is accomplished using the factory center foot pedal starter engagement. -The following have been replaced recently (last 4 months) -fuel tank, intake, exhaust manifold, intake valves, head gasket, spark plugs, points, condenser, master cylinder, filters, and oil. -the carburetor and fuel pump have been rebuilt recently. -starts, steers, shifts, rides fine. doesn’t stop well right now. (wheel cylinders need rebuilding, i have the rear kits.) -transfer case works well and is twin stick case. (high/low and 2/4 wheel drive.)”

(10/01/09) Here’s a stainless jeep from Seattle’s Eastside. I gotta say, that back seat might be the most comfortable looking back seat I’ve ever seen in the back of a jeep.

(09/06/09) It’s not completely stock, but not far from it. What’s the metal underneath the front driver’s-side fender?
“1953 Willys CJ3a, all stock, not modified, runs and drives excellent. new gas tank, new rear seat and new 6 volt battery. Items for display at car shows go with it. no top. Painted inside and out, and underneath. Many new parts. Parade and car show ready. Licensed with 1953 plate, Every thing is done. No rust! Asking $7200.00.”
“All bearings, brake parts and lines, steering linkage, wiring harness, gas tank and gas line, windshield and gasket, radiator, fuel pump, carbuator, water pump, alternator, hoses, all replaced with new parts. Electrical converted to 12 volt. Engine has oil filter cartridge system. All clutch parts new. This vehicle is a solid runner. It has 16 inch rims, which are not the original 15 inch rims. Tires are 7.50X16 and are probably 25 years old with tubes and have always held air. I have owned this jeep since 1987 and have done all of the work except rebuilding the engine, which was done professionally. Drives good, no shimmy. Floor starter. All guages replaced with new, however the gas guage needs to be replaced as it was burned out when the conversion to 12 volt was done. This jeep is ready to use.”
