Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1951 Jeep CJ3A. I used this jeep at the hunting lease this year. The only thing I have done to it was have the fuel system gone through. I put a new electric fuel pump on it, and new filters. 4×4 works, tires are in great shape and the body is straight. I had planned to restore this after hunting season, but I just don’t have the time. I am asking $4000.00 obo for it. Feel free to contact me for a few more pics or to see it.”

(for sale since 2010) It runs, but smokes, and has no title.
“This is a good working vehicle that has been used for Off-Road only. The jeep itself has had a rebuilt engine installed, Starter, Alternator, K&N Air Filter, Electronic Distributor, and Head Gaskets. It does also include a very nice set of skull gear shift handles (lol) along with a double gun rack. Runs well in rough situations and can handle almost any kind of terrain. There are a couple things that is does need; first it needs a set of rings because it smokes a little, and sometimes it pops out of second gear (may need a synchronizer). This does not have a title, we have never needed one because it was never registered. This listing does not include the wench in the picture. Please call with any questions! $1500.00 obo.
