This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is a Arizona jeep, soft top engine rebuilt,no oil burn or leaks. all tires slimed 3 speed with overdrive 4 wheel drive with creeper. All orginal except converted to 12 volt. No rust, no body work. Painted with scratch proof paint. Farmers jack, stowmaster tow bar, and 8,000lb winch.

“1950 Willys Jeep. This vehicle is all original with the exception of the rims and the roll bar (the roll bar can be easily removed as it is bolted in). It has had a recent brake job and runs great. It burns no oil and goes down the road quite nicely. The body is very solid, there is no rust anywhere. It also includes a 6 foot plow and the original rims. ”

“so its a 1951 willys flat fender jeep. it has a clean title front and rear axles 2 engines that go with it 231 buick v6 and the original 4 cylinder. im asking 450 firm or ill take a partial trade for a small block ford edelbrock preformer rpm intake a holley 650 carb and 150 bucks. thats why im sellin it too many projects call or text any time 425 246 4444”

(03/11/2011) This has an unusual hard top.
“1953 willys flat fender, hard top. 26980 original miles. custom diamond plating. custom bumpers, cargo and tire rack. Newer bfg tires. Runs perfect. Mechanically sound. Full interior roll cage, and rocker bars. Have new 4.3L v-6 conversion motor that goes with it. Never had the heart to change it out as original motor runs so strong. Converted to 12v. Call caleb @ 208 704 1970”

This appears to be a rolling chassis and a pile of parts that isn’t quite a rolling chassis.

There appears to be value here. It looks like it will make a good project.
“For sale 1951 Willys CJ3A Jeep project to restore. Very complete late flatfender. Body has plenty of rust. But NOT welded up or wrecked on the front bumper frames or the rear bumper frame, hard to find in that condition. All serial and data plates present. Engine stuck, head off for inspection. As is, where is.”
