“Please read entire ad before responding. ’53 Willys Jeep, Model CJ3A, 4WD, flathead 4 cylinder Jeep engine, 6 volt system, aluminum cab with plow, 44,000 original miles. No brakes. Owner used to plow driveway. Body has some rust, mostly surface, floors and bed are rusted through, cross members are weak. Frame is solid. Never put on the road, no title or registration. Driven into garage and parked in 2007 and has not been started since.

Potential buyers should be ready with a trailer. I do not live near where the vehicle is located so the vehicle must be removed at time of sale.

The back is solid.  I can’t tell if that is a patch or a DJ body.  This runs.

“Engine starts and runs. Gas tank needs re-installed. Soft top intact – no rips or tears. Full roll cage. Typical restoration needs on the interior for a classic jeep. Installed new axels and leaf springs w/ 488 gears last year. Selling due to change of interest towards backpacking. Don’t want to spend the time necessary to restore. UPDATE:  **SOLD*** Was $4500.

(11/29/09) This is similar to the  old AJ Fiberglass Bodies, except that the fenders look newer.

“This is a restored with fiberglass body, 1952 Willys Jeep. Three speed 4-cylinder with military style tires. Had for 1-1/2 years and almost finished with another jeep project so this on needs a new home. I have replaced the speedometer, several hoses and gaskets in engine. Brake lights need fixing and a little more TLC. Has a bikini top (not shown in pictures)”
