This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looks in good shape.
With great remorse I am selling my 1953 Jeep Willy’s CJ-3A. This jeep run’s great and is in excellent condition. I am sad to see her go! The Jeep has many new parts including: Body (new tub), windshield, brakes, lights, signal, wiper, horn, and tires. If you are interested and would like additional pic’s please let me know. I am firm on the price and please serious inquiries only.”

There might be some value here. The rollcage looks pretty good.

Brett spotted this potential deal. If this runs, it’s a steal. This could be a 1947 Lefty CJ-2A that was accidentally titled as a CJ-3A (the CJ-2A page forums mention this happening a few times). That said, just to confuse us a little more, it almost looks like a front bow holder sits just above the gas inlet.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
‘1950 Willy’s CJ3A; Runs excellent; New Tires, New 6 volt battery, New Carburetor, New Brakes. These old jeeps are hard to come by! The floor pan is solid but the body has some Bondo. The running gear and motor are in good condition. The jeep has a 12 volt winch on it but the winch battery needs to be replaced. The jeep would be a great one for a restoration project or a hunting vehicle. 3 speed with a super low granny gear that will climb any hill on the mountain. Towing fork on the front for hauling it to your favorite hunting spot. The Jeep is registered for road use.”
This sounds interesting. It includes a rebuilt motor.

“I have two 1946 flat fender jeeps, the blue one has a 3.8 buick v6 that ran good, it is currently partially apart. The front clip is off because i had purchased new headers and a aluminum intake for it and was cleaning up the engine compartment. it has a cj5 dana 44 posi rear with a dana 32 disc brake front end, good rubber all the way around, tilt column, rhino lined interior and extra large fuel tank.
The primered one also has dana’s with posi’s front and rear with rancho springs, shocks, and shackles. the original engine is still in place. Also included but not pictured is the original engine, trans & transfer case from the blue one, two cj2 windshields, one 1943 willys windshield, a willys tail gate and a military trailer hitch, too much parts to list!”

“Classic 1953 Willys Jeep. C-J3 It has a rebuilt 4cyl motor. I paid 3500.00 for jeep and need to sell for school money, selling for only $2000.00 firm! So far put new brake master cylinder on it, but it still needs new brake shoes. Everything else works great! Please just call me… I don’t really check my email. I’m usually up late so you may call up till 12 midnight. This is truly a great price for a classic good running Willys Jeep! My loss is your Gain!! 505-288-8479 ”
