This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (02/06/2010) This Jeep is apart.
“For sale is a 1951 Willys CJ3A. The jeep ran when i bought it but thought i wanted to do a full restore and started taking it apart. The Jeep comes with 2 engines( 1 rebuilt and still on the engine stand), 2 T-90 transmissions, 3 hoods, windshield with glass. Jeep also has front PTO and Ramsey winch from a 1948 Willys CJ2A. Everything is there to put Jeep back together or to continue restoration. I am selling my house and relocating for a job, and cant take the Jeep with me. The frame and body are in great shape and would be a great project for someone with a little time. I also have a 1958 Ford F-100 for sale on Craigslist. “Rare 53 flat fender with no rust , pinto motor that runs good & gets twice mileage as stock motor, has 15×10.5×31 good tires. Tow bar, fair soft top, roll bar, new transmission,good shocks with new 1in lift springs. Stored inside for last 25 years I’ve owned it,swing away tire &gas can rack. With a little work this could be show rig or you can drive & enjoy. Iam rebuilding 2 other cars so I have to many projects & no money”

This CJ looks in good, stock shape.
“1951 Willys Jeep CJ, New Brake System , Re-built engine, Converted to 12v, Used as a Plow truck since 1980 “plow has been removed”, Very Low Miles. Starts and run good. Can be used as weekend driver for fun or a good ranch vehicle.”

Strip off the top and repaint this and it might look pretty good.

“I have had this jeep since 1976. It has always been stored inside. It is complete with the original drivetrain. It runs and drives great. It has new brakes. It has a front mounted winch with inside controls. It has the original type L-134 engine. This jeep is all stock. It comes with an extra complete MB body with the tailgate, hood and fenders minus the windshield. I will also throw in an extra standard L-134 engine that has never been bored and an extra transmission. I replaced the generator with a high output alternator. I still have the generator. It appears lots of foundation work has been done on this. I’m assuming that the pic on the upper right has been thrown away.
“1949 Willy’s JEEP CJ-3A restoration project car for sale. Found in farmers field in New Mexico where retoration started, then moved to FL. Body was a throw away, but have the grill and all instruments. Frame has been repaired and repainted. Axles, gearbox, transmission, brakes, and steering rebuilt. Has new military replica tires. Engine complete, but needs to be rebuilt.”

I bought it about 2 years ago changed the fluids, rebuilt starter and carb, tune up and new battery it ran and drove great everything worked 4wd and shifted well.
