It’s certainly a clean, nice looking rebuild.

UPDATE: The winning bid was $3600, which surprises me a bit given the rotted tires and top and the dented body.
“1951 Willys Jeep w/ 4 wheel drive. I am told it is a CJ3A ?? This is Barn fresh. Stored away for years!! The body is in good condition. Some dents and dings. Was hit in the left rear quarter at sometime. There is no cancer. The floors are great!! No dents in the tailgate or the floor. Motor is free. Turns over. The gas is old. Tires are dry rotted. This is a great one to restore. This is for pickup only!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.
It looks like someone just plopped a body onto a GM frame (truck maybe).

“1951 willys cj 3a 34,8xx miles runs perfect drives great a wonderful flatfender no signs of damage to the body still 6 volt everything works. this jeep is a very nice original piece it has no extra holes cuts or tears with some minor cosmetics it would be parade or show ready. The underneath of the body is a nice as the top all the floor structure is perfect. there is 3 minor places of rust passenger floor(from heater core leak) l/h side of body at gas tank and at r/h taillight all would be an easy fix. I am the 3rd owner it has always been in eastern wa. It has had 1 repaint (was originally Luzon Red). It also comes with a Koenig 1/2 cab with orignal door panels headliner and hardware back window is broke it was stored in a barn for the last 30 + years. The jeep is brown and the cab is orange.”

“
1953 Willy’s Jeep, Original 4 cylinder flat head motor. Rebuilt with only 10,000 miles. Warn overdrive, Rancho shocks and Rancho 3 inch lift kit, converted from original 6v to 12v.30in BF Goodrich all terrian tires, chrome tail gate and heavy duty chrome front bumper. runs great, must sell.”
It doesn’t run, but appears complete. Based on the year, I’d say this is a CJ-3A, but the bow holders on the driver’s side suggest CJ-2A.
“It’s a pretty great jeep. I really, REALLY hate having to sell it but, as we all know the economy sucks. Anyways, about the jeep: Of course it doesn’t run it’s been sitting for about 2 years, under cover about 1 year 6 months. Mostly electrical work is needed, and I imagine there is a load of work to be done under the hood. Ran and drove 2 years ago. Stock cover is still in great condition, just needs a thorough wash. Interier is dusty and smelly. Hundreds of extra parts laying around. (Doubles of what’s on the jeep already). NOT a parts vehicle, or un-finished project. Just needs a good strong elbow or two on her for a while.
Will most likely need all 4 new tires, but they haven’t been filled with air in a long time so they might still work, who knows Lol. All are welcome to take a look if you like, shoot me an offer first and we’ll see where we can go from there.”
The body could use a new pan.
“Great little Jeep that has had much work done.
