This might not be a bad price.  It’s worth a look if the body is in as good of shape as advertised.  For Northern Exposure fans, Roslyn, Wa, was the real setting for the fictional city of Cicely, Alaska.  (Here’s some filming locations)

“This jeep has been used summers at our cabin in Roslyn, put in covered storage in winters. Has newer F head 4 cylinder, rebuilt rearend and brakes, rewired, new battery, tow bar, bikini top, original skinny rims and weathered tires. Runs well, easy to drive, 4 wheel drive shifts and works perfect. Over all good shape, but not perfect by any means, no body rust through at all, some minor cosmetic body rust on the side but that is all. Worked perfect for us going to the beach, exploring gravel roads etc, a ton of fun for the money. Jeep is in Roslyn, can be arranged to be seen most weekends, could be brought to the West side for the right buyer and a deposit.”

UPDATE:  The price on this was $1500 a few days ago, but now the price has doubled to $3000.  More pictures provided as well.

UPDATE:  Price dropped to $900

This CJ-3A has a pretty crazy tailpipe.  It might have some value, especially if it has an overdrive.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2450.

“This 3A is almost done. It is not a complete restoration but a nice little Willys for parades or driving around town. I was going to put a set of NDCC tires on it and let it be but I have decided I have to many other projects so this one is going up for sale. I’ve had the Jeep since last August. I’ve put a new battery in it, plugs, wires, cap & rotor button, new front brake lines, new shocks, gas pedal, & headlights. It does still need the exhaust finished, a rear brake line and a wire replaced between the amp gauge and the key switch. I drive it around every once and a while just to keep it in running order. The electrical system is still 6V. Feel free to email me or call me with any questions.”

This CJ-3A looks in decent condition.  Strangely, it’s got both passenger and driver side spare tire holders.

Excellent deer lease jeep, starts and runs good, very dependable.”

Despite the seller’s assurances, I’m quite sure this isn’t a CJ-3B, lol.  It appears in good shape though.

This jeep sports a fiberglass body.

Update:  Well, not so fast.  I thought this was sold on eBay, but the deal must have fallen through.  Now it’s back on eBay.

This appeared to sell on ebay for $9100 last month.  The seller was asking $7500 on craigslist.

Restored CJ-3A with a few upgrades plus a Bantam trailer.

This is an interesting jeep with a variety of upgrades, including a ’45 (MB?) body on a 70’s CJ frame and running gear.  Someone knew what they were doing.  Given the upgrades, this price would be hard to beat if you had to built it yourself.  I hadn’t heard of the Hyrdrovac brake system.
