This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Sb 350 Chevy, Turbo 350 tranny, built, mild cam, Edelbrock Intake Manifold, Holley carb, gear drive, Hedman headers, B&M shifter, 4-point harness, racing seats, cutstom rear gas tank. Motor has like 5 Hours on it. Went to the sand and broke the rear-end. Have New Quik-Change rear-end to go with. Brand new paddles, (used once) $2500 OBO”

This looks like a pretty stock jeep, except for a few minor updates.
“1949 WILLYS CJ2A. REBUILT FLAT HEAD 4 CYL 2 YEARS AGO.NEW BRAKES WHEEL CYLINDERS MASTER CYLINDER. NEWER TIRES. 12 VOLT SYSTEM RUNS AND DRIVES LIKE A DREAM. SOFT TOP 2 YEARS OLD.”

It’s stock, but it comes with some body rust.
“1952 Willys Jeep CJ3A. Runs and Drives. Completely Stock. Lock-in/ Lock-Out Front Hubs, Original Heater, New fuel pump, tank, minor tune. Factory Hardtop with Doors can be included. Clean Title with current CA tags.”
No pics to show the condition. Probably not good based on the seller’s description.

“48 willys, for race or play, wont take much to turn into play mode. Has 325hp 289ford, tci streetfighter c4 tranny, 3000 stahl conv. dana 44 rear full floater and dutchman axles. Douglas wheels, 16.50 paddles. Custom frontend with spindles. Jeep weighs 2200 pds. This is a very consistent sportsman racer with lots of wins, call for details. I have owned for 12yrs looking for someone to take care of and have as much fun as I have, serious inquiries only please. Comes with extra seat for passenger, tranny, converter and parts.”

This appears to be a parkette racing body. The front of the frame looks a little twisted.

This jeep has some great upgrades, but no headlights? I guess it’s been sitting for some time.
“This little Jeep is almost ready to go hunting or off roading. Needs some work, but has a lot to offer. Buick 3.8L V6, K&N filter, Custom Headers, 350 Auto Tranny, Warn Overdrive, Lock-Rights Dana 25 front and Dana 44 rear, 5.88 rear, Disc Brakes on the front, Holly Pro-Injection, 20 gallon fuel cell, new bigger heater with defroster ducts, cloth S-10 seats, tow bar, off road rack, 2 speed winch 8000#, new radiator.”
This looks pretty good for a $500 jeep. It looks like it might be a M-38, though the driver’s side is missing the indents.
